About this holiday home

Start your holiday day in style with a cup of coffee on the large veranda, overlooking the watery surroundings. You will find a picnic bench and from 1 April to 31 October also adjustable deck chairs. You can hire a boat or bike at reception and if you book the slipway in advance, you can also take your own boat out. In winter, you can step out onto the ice without difficulty. Fun on the lakes! .

Outside Loosdrecht, the water experience does not stop there. The Vinkeveense and Maarsseveensche Plassen are also very beautiful recreational areas. Of course, it is no less enjoyable from the waterfront. Take a bicycle or skate trip along the Vecht and admire the beautiful country houses, castles and villages such as Loenen aan de Vecht. Breukelen is inviting and very centrally located in the Netherlands, so you are also in no time in Utrecht or Amsterdam .

Good to know

  • Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

Die Stadt Breukelen hat uns schon bei Anfahrt super gefallen. Die Unterkunft war mit Navi leicht zu finden. Das Auto musste an der Straße geparkt werden. Den Schlüssel haben wir von der seht freundlichen Frau van Heusden erhalten. Zu Fuß geht man dann die Landzunge entlang zum Häuschen. Für den Transport stehen Schubkarren bereit. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich. Sowohl das Haus als auch die Terrasse stehen auf Pfeilen direkt über dem Wasser. Der Ausblick auf die Umgebung ist einmalig schön! Das Chalet selber ist ansprechend dekoriert und ausreichend ausgestattet, kein Luxus aber für uns völlig ok. Die Dämmung war nicht so toll, was bei den stark schwankenden Temperaturen Anfang März gewöhnungsbedürftig war. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sogar einen Tag lieber in der Sonne auf die Terrasse verbracht als etwas anderes zu unternehmen.

No, but bicycles can be parked on the terrace.

Answer: It is about 30 km. from Breukelen to Amsterdam Centre.

Can I put my boat in the water here?

Yes, you can! Please arrive before 17:00, otherwise it will be the next morning. If a crane is needed, this costs 40 euros. Stabling the trailer costs 15 euros per week.

How is parking arranged?

There is 1 parking space on the site. The cottages are by the water on a footpath, it is an average 100 to 300 metres walk from the car. There are wheelbarrows for guests to use to get to their accommodation.

Tip from the expert

Within cycling distance you will find natural swimming pool De Meent. A very nice, relaxing and above all safe place to go with smaller children. It is the oldest outdoor supervised swimming pool in the Netherlands that is still in use!
