About this holiday home

This rural holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village of Wesepe. You will immediately feel at home in the attractive and modern house. The house lends itself well to a stay for two or more people. Reading, writing, cooking, photographing, and making music are possible here. If you have children, they can play in a large separate part of the garden. And in the evening, of course, the barbecue is on! The perfect place to enjoy freedom, space, and peace.

On the river IJssel lies the small villages of Olst and Wijhe; coziness and a small scale mark these places. Meadows, forests, and country estates surround the town of Wesepe. The surroundings are perfect for walks and cycle rides through the beautiful countryside. Natuurmonumenten's info center in Den Nul is in a beautiful walking area. You can take lovely walks along the IJssel River here. The center organizes all kinds of activities or lectures about the history of this area every month. You can find these activities on the website infocentrumijssel.nl. Ornithologists have plenty to look forward to. A good brasserie is available for after the walk. Located between Deventer and Zwolle, Huis te Lande is also a perfect base for a visit to either of these cities. Go shopping for a day in Zwolle or visit the Fundatie, a fine art museum in a beautiful and striking building. Explore the streets and narrow alleys of the historic center of Deventer, one of the Netherlands's oldest (Hanseatic) cities. Deventer is only 10 kilometres from Wesepe. But the Hanseatic city of Zutphen is also worth a visit. If you want something for the children, indoor play paradise Balorig (Wijhe) or adventure park Hellendoorn are highly recommended. Colmschate in Deventer also has a lovely swimming pool. Do you love antiques or fine art? Then the Sculpture Garden in Mariënheem is also definitely worth a visit. Wat een heerlijk huis op een prachtig gelegen locatie, een heerlijk bos achter het huis. Wij hebben een rustige vakantie gehad. Een heerlijk schoon huis met veel voorzieningen oa een grote koelvriescombinatie in de keuken. er is zelfs gedacht aan basiskruiden, thee, koffie. (Smart)TV met veel zenders en Bluetooth verbinding voor de geluidsinstalatie. Ook voor een gezin met kinderen is het ideaal. Er is een babyledikant met een heerlijk schoon matras incl. beddengoed en een ikea kinderstoel aanwezig. Ook de bedden voor volwassenen liggen prima, dit is inclusief beddengoed. Er is een basisset aan handoeken aanwezig. In omgeving kun je prachtige boswandelingen maken of leuk shoppen of zwemmen/ dierentuin bezoeken met de kids. Boederijwinkels in de buurt waar je verse groenten, melk en eieren kan halen. Wij kregen een heel vriendelijk ontvangst en er zijn duidelijke huisregels die prima na te leven zijn. Ook toen we vertrokken kregen we nog een hartelijke groet. Dus zeker boeken!

There is a bedroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the 1st floor. On the 1st floor there is also a very spacious landing with another single bed. A total of 5 people can sleep.

Many attractive walking and cycling routes can be found throughout Overijssel, but especially in Salland. Nature and surroundings can be enjoyed to the full. This is also the case in and around Wesepe. Since the end of 2011, a new route has been added for walkers and nature lovers, namely the Weseper Ommetje. The Weseper Ommetje originated from a provincial project, which also realised ommetjes in places such as Weseper-OmmetjeWelsum, Schalkhaar, Luttenberg, Heeten, Nieuw Heeten and Bathmen. The Weseper Ommetje has a length of 4.5 kilometres. It can be walked in the immediate vicinity of the village with start/finish at the Wapen van Wesepe
