About this holiday home

This is the only houseboat with roof terrace at this location in Uitgeest. From the terrace you have a beautiful and unobstructed view over the Uitgeestermeer. After preparing a tasty breakfast in the kitchen, you can wake up in peace on the back deck with table and chairs. The WiFi signal might not be as strong as you are used to, but with this location you will soon forget about that. An oasis of calm in a central location! .

There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. The park is close to sea/beach, nice towns such as Volendam and Monnickendam on the Markermeer and the large cities Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. The park is easily accessible by motorway and Schiphol Airport is also nearby. The nearby harbour offers a bistro and brasserie, as well as bicycle and boat rental. From here, you can easily cycle or sail to lovely places along the Uitgeestermeer or further away, such as the Zaanse Schans or the Noordhollands Dune Reserve. .

Sehr schönes Hausboot, was recht gut gelegen ist. Man kommt mit dem Auto überall sehr schnell und unproblematisch hin. Haustiere sind willkommen und man kann auch im Umkreis gut spazieren gehen. Ansonsten lässt das Hausboot keinerlei Wünsche offen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass das Hausboot leider etwas nah an einer viel befahrenen Schnellstraße und in einer Flugschneise liegt. Das könnte man, schon als störend empfinden. Wir fanden es jedoch nicht schlimm. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen

This accommodation does not have its own car park. On a few minutes walk there are 2 large parking lots. With luggage trolleys one can bring the luggage to the accommodation.

From Uitgeest station, it is 14 minutes by bus and then a 1-minute walk to the house. Walking distance from station is 1.9 km (about 24 walking minutes).

Is a fishing licence required?

Fishing is allowed from the terrace of the cottage without a permit. If you take a boat out onto the Alkmaardermeer to fish, you do need a permit. This cannot be purchased at reception.
