About this holiday home

This luxurious 6-person house is located right on the Uitgeestermeer lake between Amsterdam and Alkmaar. You have a nice waterside terrace where you start your day enjoying the sun's reflection on the water and the sound of rippling water. The house is characterized by an open living space with a view of the water. On the ground floor, you have a bedroom; on the first floor, there are two more bedrooms. When the weather is good, you can jump straight into the water.

Naturally, you explore the area here from the water. You can hire a boat, a canoe, or a windsurfboard in the immediate vicinity. The surroundings, which consist of water, dykes, windmills, and dunes, are also great to explore by bike. Along the way, you snack on herring or have a kibble or a croquette sandwich at one of the many outdoor cafés. We also definitely recommend a visit to beautiful Alkmaar. Alkmaar is famous for its cheese market; order a cheeseboard and glass of Heineken somewhere and appreciate the Netherlands. If you want to enjoy the sea, go to the seaside beaches of Castricum or Egmond aan Zee. Many amenities are available at the park and harbor, including several restaurants and bike and boat rentals. The park is easily accessible by motorway, and Schiphol Airport is nearby.

Das Haus war ordentlich, sauber, gut zu erreichen und wir konnten etwas früher ins Haus. Das Haus befindet sich in einer Derienhausanlage und wird auch darüber verwaltet. Preis /Leistungsverhältnis war super

Evin yeri konumu çok iyiydi veranda çok keyifliydi. Genel görüntü olarak evi beğendik. Çarşaflar temiz ve paketli geldi. Fakat Havlu yoktu ayrıca getirmemiz söylendi . Esnek giriş yoktu . Erken eve gelirsek ekstra 40 Euro ödememiz gerektiği söylendi. Eve geldiğimizde bize ufak bir paket verildi . İçinde çay ve kahve vardı. sanırım biraz bayatlamıştı . Kullanamadık. El sabunu yoktu peçete yoktu . Tuz karabiber yağ gibi temel ihtiyaçlar yoktu. Bulaşık makinesi için 3 tablet verildi ama çamaşır makinesi için deterjan yoktu. Banyo yeterli ve güzeldi . Şampuan sabun gibi minimum ihtiyaçlar yoktu . Toplu taşıma ve markete uzak . Keyifli ve huzurlu tatil yapmak için iyi bir alışveriş yapıp öyle gelmek lazım.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you easily get to Amsterdam by public transport?

The bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away. From there, you can take a bus to Uitgeest station and then change trains to Amsterdam.

Is a fishing licence required?

Fishing is allowed from the terrace of the cottage without a permit. If you take a boat out onto the Alkmaardermeer to fish, you do need a permit. This cannot be purchased at reception.
