At 7 km from the beach, this chalet is surrounded by meadows. The chalet is located on a small-scale farm, so you will occasionally see a horse in the meadow and have a wonderful view. The farm has lovely farm animals such as horses, sheep, cows and calves. In the evening, you can completely relax in your own garden and enjoy the last rays of the sun or plop down in the comfortable living room of this chalet. A stay to leave all the hustle and bustle behind you.

Taking or renting bicycles is a good idea. From here you can enjoy cycling through the countryside. Choose one day to go to the wide sandy beach of Egmond aan Zee. This well-known seaside resort is also where you will find nice shops and restaurants. The other day you can seek the peace and quietness of the nearby forest. Or take in culture in Alkmaar, famous for its cheese market, where you can sample a good piece of cheese and Dutch beer. If you like playing golf or want to try this sport for a day, you can visit the neighbours, Heiloo's 9-hole golf course is known as an A-status course.

Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec une petite touche d’attention. Le logement est conforme aux photos, très propre, confortable et très calme, avec une vue agréable sur la campagne où paissent des vaches et des chevaux. Il était également bien équipé et bien exposé. Le village d’Heiloo, très proche, offre toutes les commodités pour se ravitailler. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous apprécierions d’y revenir.

Het Baafje swimming pool is the ideal place to swim in Heiloo. They have a heated paddling pool and a 50-metre pool with diving board. Order a delicious scoop of ice cream or a cup of coffee (open from late April to early September).
