This beautiful loft house with a thatched roof and large windows is on a holiday estate with four other houses. It has super comfortable beds, a nice open living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a double washbasin and bathtub. In short, what more could you want? This house has a brocante theme, reflected in many lovely details. You will find complete relaxation in the rural surroundings between Breda and Antwerp.
You will stay in the countryside near the Brabant village of Alphen. In Alphen, you will find a good supermarket, some restaurants, and a bicycle rental. Peace seekers can enjoy the Chaamse and Alphen forests. These forests are centuries old. Marshy grasslands, streams, and heaths with fens characterize the area. Agricultural areas are restored to their former state in this region. As a result, fens and marshes with clearings are once again created, providing beautiful views. If you want to go hiking or cycling, you will undoubtedly get your money's worth here. Many routes are well signposted.
In warm weather, you can swim at the recreational lake 't Zand. The attraction, safari park Beekse Bergen, and recreation park Efteling are good for a fun day.
Just under 6 km away is the border village of Baarle Nassau. This particular enclave is in the Netherlands but has no fewer than 30 Belgian enclaves. Super unique. There are also regular fun activities in the city. The other city in the immediate vicinity is Antwerp. The large market square is very photogenic. The Ruben House and various beautiful museums make a visit worthwhile even in bad weather.
