About this holiday home

This cozy four-person chalet is located in the camping park De Vuurkuil in Hulshorst. The cottage has all the amenities and is comfortable and very comfortably furnished. It is the perfect spot on the Veluwe to relax and unwind. In the garden or on your terrace, you can enjoy a nice drink in the sun, and if the weather is typical dutch, you can sit together on the sofa in front of the atmospheric gas fire.

The cottage is in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Veluwe and is the ideal starting point to explore this natural area. Get on your bike or take a nice walk and discover the woods, sand drifts, and vast heathlands. At Lake Veluwe, you can rent a boat, practice a fun water sport, or enjoy the view from one of the many terraces on the beach. For culture lovers, there is the North Veluwe Museum or the famous Kröller-Möller museum.

In het huisje zit maar één kachel (in de woonkamer) waardoor de slaapkamers, maar vooral de badkamer, ijzig koud waren. Alle ramen waren kletsnat, zo ook de dekbedden en lakens. Gelukkig hadden we ons eigen dekbed bij ons maar ook deze voelden na een paar dagen klam aan. Dit kan anno 2024/2025 echt niet meer. In de badkamer kon je echt niet verblijven, alles was klam/nat en steenkoud, handdoeken hingen na een halve dag klam tot nat aan de haakjes. We hebben elke dag alles zo veel mogelijk op moeten hangen aan het wasrek dat in de kast stond voor de kleine kachel om zo toch nog enigszins droge handdoeken en dergelijke te kunnen gebruiken. Om diverse redenen is dit huisje veel te duur betaald voor wat er geboden wordt. We zijn er letterlijk ziek vandaan gekomen, dit is niks voor 60 plussers !

Merel ist etwas abgeschieden, aber man kann sehr schnell sehr viel erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zum Wandern oder Radfahren. Ein schöner Strand am Veluwemeer in Harderwijk ist in 15 Minuten (mit dem Auto) erreichbar.
