The holiday home is located in Lhee, about 800 meters from Dwingeloo, overlooking the ash fields towards the village. Just 500 meters away is the Dwingelderveld National Park, with its vast forests and 1,200 hectares of heathland. Dwingeloo, one of Drenthe's most beautiful villages with around 2,500 inhabitants, is mainly known for its Havezate "Oldengaerde" and the Sint Nicolaaskerk with its typical onion-shaped spire. In the immediate vicinity, you can cycle wonderfully; you are almost directly in the Dwingelderveld. Enjoy the peace and nature via the beautiful routes. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area; think of Giethoorn, Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen, TT track Assen, Kamp Westerborg or Tierpark Nordhorn (DE). There is always something suitable for both young and old.
