Fliemstorf is an idyllic part of the municipality of Zierow, around 8 kilometres west of Wismar. Surrounded by rolling hills, fields and meadows, the area offers a picturesque backdrop for those seeking relaxation and nature lovers.
The proximity to the Baltic Sea is a key feature: the unspoilt beach at Zierow is ideal for walks, swimming trips and water sports. The Baltic Sea coastal cycle path also runs through the region and offers beautiful cycle tours with sweeping views of the sea.
There are small farms, holiday homes and riding stables in the surrounding area, which underline the rural character of the area. At the same time, the nearby Hanseatic town of Wismar offers cultural and historical sights as well as shopping opportunities.
Fliemendorf is a quiet, family-friendly village that is characterised by its natural location and good connections to the tourist highlights of the Baltic Sea coast.
