The Baltic seaside resort of Boltenhagen is located on the beautiful and varied Mecklenburg Baltic coast between the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Lübeck in the Klützer Winkel region. The surrounding area is characterised by long avenues, small idyllic villages, vast fields and forests, large paddocks, and, of course, the proximity to the Baltic Sea; h, here, you are very close to nature and always in the healthy and fresh Baltic Sea air. Many cycling and hiking trails lead close to the beach and offer a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea.

Leisure activities: these are varied and diverse.
Klütz, the castle town, is approximately 3 km away and can be easily reached on foot, by bike, or by car. We recommend a visit to Bothmer Castle. The entire complex is well worth a visit and was opened in 2015 after many years of restoration. In the Uwe-Johnson House, located on Klützer Markt, you can learn many interesting facts about the surrounding area and the Klützer Winkel.
Tarnewitz: There is a marina in the Boltenhagen district of Tarnewitz (Marina Weiße Wiek). The old fishing harbour is also located here. Fresh fish is available directly from the cutter!
Shopping facilities: in Boltenhagen you have the choice between several supermarkets. You can do your shopping just 50 metres away. There is also a pharmacy, a savings bank and many small local shops in the Baltic seaside resort.
