About this holiday home

Lovely holiday home with private garden and at walking distance from the beautiful truffle village of Aups (400 m). It is located on a small domain (17 villas) with a large communal swimming pool, tennis court and jeu-de-boules court. Laze on the large terrace at the front with nice views and privacy or lounge on the covered terrace at the back of the villa. The kids have fun in the pool while you plan days out to the Gorges de Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix lake!.

If you don't feel like cooking, just walk to the village where there are good restaurants. Aups is famous for its truffles, so try them! And don't forget to order a good glass of rosé! A 15-minute drive and you are already at the beautiful bright blue lake Lac de St Croix where you can sail, pedal boat, swim and canoe. Hikers will explore the Gorges du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) and influencers will take pictures in the picturesque village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Plan a day by the Mediterranean too, Sainte-Maxime can be reached within an hour and a half.

Good to know

  • Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

  • For reasons of tranquillity, reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted

  • Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home

We had a fabulous holiday at Les Burons. The gite was perfect for us, very comfortable and very well equipped. Walking distance into the beautiful village of Aups, which has lovely cafes, 2 market days a week and lovely restaurants and bars. Also some lovely walks round nearby woods. Large supermarket just up the road too. Perfectly situated for day visits to surrounding villages, Cotignac, Salernes, Villecroze etc. and Verdon Gorge. Hilde was an excellent concierge who looked after us very well indeed, giving help and advice on the area and any issues were sorted straight away. We had access to a shared swimming pool, which was lovely and clean and also a tennis court. All in all, a very lovely holiday and we would love to return.

Walk or grab one of the available bikes at the house to get your baquette and croissants at the local bakery, or pick up a nice bottle of wine at the corner wine shop. Also, don't forget to stroll around Aups' colourful Provençal market on Wednesdays and Saturdays!
