About this holiday home

Lovely holiday cottage with lots of privacy and spectacular views of Lake Ste Croix. Relax on the terrace with a glass of rosé and enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful sunsets or play jeu-de-boules in the large garden. A perfect destination at 800 meter of altitude, where you can enjoy cool nights and fresh air, and ideal for exploring the spectacular Gorges de Verdon. Do this with a pedalo, canoe, or go for a swim at one of the many beaches on the sides of the Verdon River.

The bright blue Lac de Sainte-Croix is a beautiful swimming lake and you can swim, surf, hire pedal boats and boats here. The Gorges du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) is a gorge with steep cliffs and small beaches on the Verdon River, great to paddle through. Also enjoy the cosy villages in this area, such as the pretty Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, or go eat truffle dishes in the village of Aups (which also has a nice weekly market!). In the picturesque village of Aiguines, there are several terraces, shops, a beautiful castle and restaurants.

Wat een geweldig uitzicht! Wij hadden het erg naar ons zin. Er is voldoende privacy. Bij aankomst werden wij hartelijk ontvangen en stond er een fles rosé klaar, waarvoor dank. De navigatie zorgde ervoor dat we wat fout hebben gereden, maar na telefonisch contact met de contactpersoon, hebben we de weg gevonden. Wij raden het zeker aan!!

Tip from the expert

For really spectacular views, drive the route de Crêtes by car or motorbike (takes about 2 hours). A beautiful round trip and at each stop another view with the chance of birds of prey flying by!
