Fully restored in 2018, this lovely country house was part of the 17th-century Chateau de Clauzuroux. It is in the middle of nature with expansive views over the countryside.
A unique feature is the swimming pool, built between the remains of the outer walls of an old horse stable, which means complete privacy! There are terraces with plenty of seating areas for sunbathing and enjoyment.
The house's interior is rural yet bright and has plenty of space.
The house is located on a country road with a second house of the same owner on the other side, which is also rented out. Both houses maintain their privacy and have no direct view of each other.
The house is in one of the most beautiful places in the Dordogne. Visit the town of Brantome for its cozy center, terraces, and restaurants, and especially go canoeing on the river.
Périgueux has a historic center, and you can leisurely spend a lovely day there.
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home
This accommodation is rented only to family groups
Upon departure, please empty all trash bins and leave garbage in the designated spot
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

The house remains cool in summer, but two fans are available for those who want more. We have a folder with tourist information for you, and we are happy to provide you with tips and answer any questions you may have. We hope that, like many tenants before you, you will enjoy the house, the pool, and the surroundings!
What is there to discover in the Dordogne region? There are too many to mention: castles, flea markets, annual and weekly markets, historical towns, fantastic walks, bike rides, and horse riding opportunities. In addition, there are many festivals, music evenings, and night markets where you can taste all kinds of local delicacies. You will run out of time!
