About this holiday home

At 30 minutes from the Belgian border and 15 km from the beautiful city of Charleville-Mézières, capital of the French Ardennes, you will find this cozy holiday home. From the terrace, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the rolling countryside. On garden level, there is a relaxation area equipped with a pinball machine, fireplace, and TV with chromecast. Children can play here happily while the adults enjoy themselves upstairs by the wood stove with a good glass of wine. Pets are also welcome.

There is plenty to do in this beautiful wooded area, about half an hour from the Belgian border. You will find yourself in a beautiful natural environment with lovely hiking and cycling routes. You want to spend a day exploring the area? Visit the city of Charleville-Méziers, located on the river La Meuse. This city has an ancient history dating back to the year 1000. Have a coffee on the Place Ducale; once the site of the Duke's palace, this square was inspired in style by the Place des Vosges in Paris. Visit the town of Sédan with your children. Here you will find the largest fort/castle in Europe. Want to explore the French Ardennes by bike? The Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes consists of a 130 km waterfront cycling route. Would you rather explore nature close to your holiday home? From your own accommodation there is direct access to the vast forest of the Chateau de Guignicourt (800 ha).

De tuin van het huisje is prachtig, groot en helemaal omheind de hond kon er vrij rondlopen. Het uitzicht op de velden en bossen is fantastisch. Binnen zijn de zetels en tafel basic, de keuken volledig vernieuwd en de bedden heel comfortabel.

We hebben een heerlijke 2 weken gehad. De ruime tuin met fijn buitenterras is heerlijk. Onze hond heeft erg genoten van de ruime omheinde tuin. De bedden lagen goed maar waren wel wat warm, ik denk door de synthetische onderlakens. Wij hebben zelf liever geen spleet tussen een 2 persoonsbed maar dat kan een verademing zijn voor andere gasten..😉

Mooi huis met een lekkere grote privé tuin. Goed huis om lekker tot rust te komen met een grote groep. De host is vriendelijk en reageerde snel en goed. Aanrader.

Fijn verblijf gehad met de familie. na ontdekking dat de verwarming en boiler het niet deden werden we zeer goed geholpen. Extra hout voor de.kachel aan te steken, 2 electrische vuurtjes en het aanbod om elders te kunnen douchen. Na een avond, slaagde ons gastheer erin om via telefonisch contact met de loodgieter, toch zelf alles weer te laten werken. prima! Fijne plek en goede tuin. Proper huis, voldoende plaats en rustige omgeving. kortom leuk om de Franse Ardennen te verkennen.
