This characteristic family house, lies on the edge of a wooded area and less than 50 metres from the beautiful castle of Guignicourt, located in the French Ardennes. This holiday home is very suitable to relax with friends or family in this beautiful area. On the 2nd floor is a dormitory, ideal for children, with its own bathroom. The spacious living room invites you to enjoy long cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove after a full day's activity in nature.
There is plenty to do in this beautiful area, about half an hour from the Belgian border. You will find yourself in a beautiful natural environment with lovely hiking and cycling routes. Want to spend a day exploring the area? Visit the city of Charleville-Méziers, located on the river La Meuse. This city has an ancient history dating back to the year 1000. Have a coffee on the Place Ducale; once the site of the Duke's palace, this square was inspired in style by the Place des Vosges in Paris.
Visit the town of Sédan with your children. Here you will find the largest fort/castle in Europe.
Want to explore the French Ardennes by bike? The Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes consists of a 130 km waterfront cycling route. Would you rather explore nature close to home? From your own accommodation there is direct access to the vast forest of the Chateau de Guignicourt (800 ha).

The nearby castle, which is not open to the public, was built in 1710 by the Wignacourt family, two of whose members were Grand Masters of the Order of Malta. Alof from 1601 to 1622. Adrien from 1690 to 1697. Today it is owned by the descendants of the Wignacourt family, namely: The Princes of Merode
