About this holiday home

Located 1.5 km from the centre of the picturesque medieval village of Valbonne, you will find this homely villa. The villa is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped, enclosed garden. In front and next to the villa there are 3 covered terraces with luxurious lounge sets overlooking the beautiful garden and swimming pool. On one of the terraces there is a long dining table. Ideal for socialising after a fun day in the region! .

Valbonne is a medieval charming village with a maze of streets and a cosy car-free square surrounded by restaurants, terraces and specialty shops. The biggest attractions of the French Riviera are located at a short distance from the villa. In the lively seaside resort of Cannes (14 km), you can stroll along the famous Boulevard de la Croisette, where the world-famous film festival is held every spring. The attractive coastal town Antibes (10 km) and the atmospheric city Nice (20 km) are also worth a visit. Along the entire coast, you will find wonderful sandy beaches and in the beautiful green inland, there are various golf courses. Do not miss the small Provencal villages, Chateauneuf-de-Grasse, Gourdon, Opio, Tourettes-sur-Loup and Saint-Cezaire..

A lovely family home close to Valbonne The villa is in a quiet location - walking distance to Valbonne - with a lovely pool and peaceful, well-equipped outside areas to sit. There were 6 of us in our party and the accommodation worked well with enough space for everyone to relax and reasonably comfortable bedrooms. We found the oven completely impossible to operate (despite reading the instructions carefully) and there is no kettle. Also no air con - the house has shutters to help keep the bedrooms cool but this might not be enough on very hot nights and the fans provided are very noisy.

Rustic Provençal House, safe community feel, provides all the basic requirements needed to accommodate a family of 4-6. Friendly and helpful owner. Pls see that there is no aircon if you do require it.

Tip from the expert

My favourite restaurant in Valbonne is Café des Arcades on the central square in Valbonne where there is always something going on. Not only do they serve the best pizza, but also the salade Niçoise is delicious. Also with children an ideal restaurant - on the little car-free square children are playing busily. Also a lovely place to read the newspaper with a cup of coffee in the morning.
