In the surrounding area, you can visit beautiful villages such as the white lime town of Canne with the eponymous castle Neercanne. The only terraced castle in the Netherlands. The Fort of Eben-Emael is located in Bassenge in the French-speaking part and shows a piece of history of Wo II
