The Kasplatzl "Schaukäserei" in the Spertengrund is a popular excursion destination. Here, enjoyment is combined with adventure. When travelling or hiking through the wild and romantic valley, you should stop at the waterfall with its suspension bridge!
The Spertental Valley is one of the side valleys of the Brixental Valley, which runs south to the Salzburg border. It impresses with its unspoilt natural landscape and rustic mountain huts. The Spertentaler Ache river flows through the valley, providing refreshments on various hikes and cycle tours. The Tyrolean mountain village of Aschau, with its approx. 400 inhabitants, is picturesquely situated in the valley basin and is worth a visit
