About this holiday home

The spacious Pletzer holiday flat is located in a quiet, idyllic residential area in Kitzbühel, with great connections to the centre and a beautiful view of the Hahnenkamm from the sun terrace with gazebo. The accommodation has been lovingly furnished with handmade furniture in traditional Tyrolean Alpine style. In the farmhouse parlour decorated with old wood and a tiled stove, you can really make yourself comfortable with your family. .

The accommodation is located in a very quiet and idyllic residential area of Kitzbühel. The Hahnenkamm and Hornbahn gondola stations can be reached within 3.0 km from the accommodation. The ski bus is within walking distance in just a few minutes. For ski fans, the location is simply fantastic. From the terrace of the accommodation you have, among other things, a wonderful view of the Hahnenkamm and the surrounding mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. In the low seasons and in summer, you have all kinds of possibilities in Kitzbühel. Whether you want to explore the mountains and alpine pastures on a leisurely hike or prefer to go mountain biking. On cold and rainy days you can relax in the covered swimming pool of the Aquarena or on hot days again stroll along the Schwarzsee and cool off in the healing moor water. From the accommodation you are only a few minutes' walk directly into the centre of Kitzbühel, where you will find various grocery shops, farm shops, cafés and restaurants and of course luxury shops. .

Geweldig verblijf. Contact was goed. Gezellig huis op mooie locatie. Wij reden met auto naar de Fleckalmbahn in 10 minuten. Supermarkt dichtbij. Enige minpunt is dat er geen lekkere bank in de woonkamer staat en dat je dus altijd op stoelen zit.

We were given the wrong address and PIN code so not good start. The lady arrived an hour later & hadn’t been expecting us which was strange. The apartment was a really nice, spacious apartment from the kitchen. The kitchen was clean but small, had some lovely pans and crockery but lacked anything else, there wasn’t even a wooden spoon! The hot water stopped working and the owner popped over promptly to sort it. The flat was clean apart from some dirty cutlery, dirty cloths and the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied. The other thing we found strange and had actually realised when we booked, but there wasn’t even no sofa or comfy chairs which at the end of a day on the slopes is just what you need, so rather disappointing. Big issue is 2 weeks before we arrived we we told we needed to pay 290 euros in cash the day we arrived for cleaning it completely threw us because we didn’t expect it but didn’t complain in case they cancelled the booking. That is a crazy amount for cleaning a small flat!

My party had a great stay in Sybrand's unit. There was ample space for the 5 of us (adults), and I think we could have comfortably fit one more person. The unit has a great layout with a nice kitchen, game / dining room, and a beautiful outdoor deck with a table protected from the elements. We loved the location – a short walk to shuttles that will take you directly to the lifts in under 10 minutes. For those wanting a walk, you can reach the town center in about 25 minutes. Our only disappointment was a lack of key toiletries and cleaning products – there were no dish pods, sponges, hand soaps, shower gels, paper towels, etc., and stocking up the unit for the duration of our stay felt wasteful. All in all, a great value, and an excellent location to base your vacation in the mountains.

Tip from the homeowner

The spectacular Hahnenkammrennen take place here every year in the third week of January. This is one of the most difficult races in the world. Experience one of the highlights in Kitzbühel during the traditional fair. This takes place every year in the second week of August and is not to be missed!

Tip from the expert

A leisurely walk around the Schwarzsee is a particularly beautiful experience at any time of year. Freshly blossoming trees in spring, flowery lush meadows in summer, colourful leaves in autumn and in winter simply skate across the lake.
