This elegant alpine chalet is located on a small chalet park in the village of Hohentauern in Styria, on a sunny slope with an impressive mountain panorama. The chalet offers a living/dining area, a modern open-plan kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which has an integrated sauna, a washing machine, wooden terrace with hot tub and a balcony. Parking is available directly at the chalet and you can reach the ski lift in less than 200 meters!.
The chalet park is located directly in Hohentauern, a small picturesque mountain village in Styria, at an altitude of 1,274 meters amidst the impressive mountain scenery and unspoilt nature of the Niedere Tauern.
In winter, Styria is transformed into Austria's 'white heart' with beautiful ski resorts. The Hohentauern ski area with 11 kilometers of pistes is within walking distance (the ski lift is in walking distance from the chalet park!) and presents itself with wide, groomed ski slopes, pistes of all levels of difficulty from blue, red to black and numerous deep snow variants.
Other ski areas in the region include the Kreischberg/Murau ski area with 42 kilometers of first-class groomed pistes, the Riesneralm family ski area in Donnersbachwald, where over 30 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes invite you to carve and ski and the Lachtal ski area with 36 kilometers of slopes and ski routes. The nearby Kaiserau ski area in Admont is ideal for beginners and offers 3 kilometers of pistes.
For cross-country skiers, the various perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails in the Hohentauern ski area offer a variety of options over a total length of 18 kilometers.
In summer, the Murtal adventure region offers various hiking and mountain tours of all levels of difficulty as well as a large selection of mountain bike trails and leisurely cycle paths. Summer is also known for its public swimming pools and bathing lakes such as the Gaishorn Am See bathing lake or the Wald Am Schoberpass leisure lake and thermal baths. Motorsport fans and motorcyclists also get their money's worth, as the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is only around 35 kilometers away.
In the village of Hohentauern and the surrounding area there are many excursion destinations, plenty of shopping opportunities and a good selection of restaurants.
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
