The chalet park in Donnersbachwald is located on a gentle slope with breathtaking views. With its fantastic location near the Riesneralm valley station, the park offers direct access to nature and a babbling brook. The Austrian winter transforms the area into a fairyland with two snow-sure ski areas, Riesneralm and Planneralm, together accounting for 50 km of slopes. For families, the child-friendly Riesneralm is ideal. Looking for variety? Try the natural toboggan run or cross-country trails close to the chalet. Summer reveals a different kind of magic with various hiking trails, mountain huts, the challenging 5-Gipfelweg, 3D archery, the E-Enduro Bikepark and fly-fishing. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the unique Gipfel pool, at 1900 metres above sea level, and admire the 360-degree view there. Mountain lakes and streams will cool you down on hot summer days. If you are coming from Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany, we recommend driving into Austria at the border crossing at PASSAU. This will avoid MÜNCHEN. If you drive this way, there is the least chance of traffic jams.

There is 1 parking space at the house. If you arrive with more cars than the number of parking spaces at the chalet, we kindly ask you to park them in the general car park at the ski slope. This is to prevent parked cars from making optimal snow clearance impossible.
