The Hauser Kaibling ski area, less than 10 minutes from Gröbming, is one of Austria's best ski areas and the ideal gateway to the Schladming - Dachstein ski region, with a breathtaking panorama from its highest point at over 2,000 metres. The 4-mountain ski area Schladming connects the four largest Styrian ski areas Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Discover more than 123 kilometres of non-stop pistes in all levels of difficulty. Fantastically groomed slopes, beautiful winter scenery and fine powder snow do await you. The Galsterberg with 11 km of stunning pistes and 3 fun-rides leaves nothing to be desired for skiers, winter sports enthusiasts, families or ski tourers and can be reached in appr. 20 minutes. Fun off-piste is provided by a 5 km-long toboggan run. The local mountain Stoderzinken and Michaelerberg provide a nice balance to the crowdy winter period whilst enjoying the pristine, snowy landscape on a guided snowshoe hike!
