The village of Gröbming is located at 776 metres above sea level, on a hill in Styria's Enns Valley, in the middle of the Stoderzinken and Kammspitze mountain peaks in the adventure region of Schladming - Dachstein, where sport and adventure are paramount. The Hauser Kaibling ski area, less than 10 minutes from Gröbming, is one of Austria's best ski areas and the ideal gateway to the Schladming - Dachstein ski region, with a breathtaking panorama from its highest point at over 2,000 metres. The 4-mountain ski area Schladming connects the four largest Styrian ski areas Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Discover more than 123 kilometres of non-stop pistes in all levels of difficulty. Fantastically groomed slopes, beautiful winter scenery and fine powder snow do await you! The Galsterberg with 11 km of stunning pistes and 3 fun-rides leaves nothing to be desired for skiers, winter sports enthusiasts, families or ski tourers and can be reached in appr. 20 minutes.
