For winter sports enthusiasts, this chalet has an excellent location. This is because Piesendorf-Walchen itself has a small ski area called Erlebnisberg Naglköpfl, where there is a practice area with a drag lift (Naglköpfllift), where beginners can learn to ski in peace and quiet. Airboarding, tobogganing and snowtubing are also possible here. The popular Zell am See - Kaprun ski area is just around the corner. In a few minutes, you can reach the Kaprun (6.4 km) and Zell am See (8 km) ski lifts by car. The ski bus stops 300 m from the chalet. In summer, the region offers numerous carefully mapped out hiking and cycling routes for every skill level. Fancy a refreshing dip? Visit one of the many outdoor or indoor swimming pools. The famous Krimmler Waterfalls are just a stone's throw away .
