About this holiday home

This gorgeous first-floor penthouse exudes a warm Austrian atmosphere, with high ceilings, luxurious box-spring beds, characteristic details and a balcony with mountain views. It is accessible by lift and you can relax in the spacious living room with modern open-plan kitchen. There is a shared relaxation area with sauna and you can store your ski gear in the shared storage room. This is Austria at its best!.

The chalet is located on the southern slope in picturesque Walchen (Piesendorf). The location is perfect, sunny, very close to Zell am See - Kaprun, and only 20 minutes away from the beautiful ski area of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, centrally located in Salzburgerland. Walchen is a picturesque village in the shadow of the majestic Hohe Tauern mountains. This picturesque location offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. In summer, you can enjoy beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the surrounding mountains and relax at Lake Zell. In winter, the area is popular for its many skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the nearby ski resort. The centre of Walchen is particularly charming and houses cosy restaurants, where you will experience the typical regional hospitality first-hand.

We verbleven van 28 december tot 4 januari met 7 personen in Top 7 van de Tauern Suite en hebben een prachtige week gehad. De weersomstandigheden waren fantastisch en het was erg leuk de kerstvakantie zo door te brengen in Oostenrijk. We gingen skiën in zowel Kaprun als Zell am See. We reisden naar de pistes met eigen vervoer omdat het met onze groepsgrootte en skispullen het meest praktisch was. De reisafstand was 10-20 minuten. Het appartement was heerlijk en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden sliepen heerlijk en ook degene die op de slaapbank sliep heeft daar prima uit kunnen rusten. In het appartementencomplex allerlei fijne voorzieningen zoals een overdekte parkeerplaats, skikelder, sauna en mogelijkheid om tegen 4 euro betaling je was te doen in een gedeelde wasruimte.

There are hiking trails here that are accessible to families as well as challenging treks for avid hikers. Recommended is the Panoramaweg, a 7.5 km route that can be walked in around four hours
