This cosy 4-star apartment impresses with its spacious living room that offers direct access to the south-facing, heated balcony. This is where you start your days with a cup of tea and stunning views of Hohe Tauern National Park. You have a large open kitchen and a sauna where you can completely unwind. The lodge is close to the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, surrounded by the distinctive Austrian nature. You can enjoy local dishes in the many mountain huts nearby. The accommodation is located on the outskirts of atmospheric Piesendorf, an authentic village in Pinzgau. Just 500 metres walking distance away, you will find the bakery, supermarket and restaurants in the centre. You can enjoy fresh rolls in the morning, delivered to your door by the local baker! For winter sports lovers, Zell am See and Kaprun are ideal destinations. On the Kitzsteinhorn glacier in Kaprun, you can even ski from November to May. Zell am See is connected to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm, with 408 km of perfectly prepared slopes. Both ski areas can be easily reached by car, and the ski bus stops just 400 metres from the accommodation. With children, sledding on the Erlebnisberg Naglköpfl in Walchen is an enjoyable activity. As a guest of this accommodation, you will also receive a 10% discount on ski equipment rental at the local Skischule Entleitner. In summer, the homeowner offers the Fun+Sommerkarte, including free access to the nearby outdoor swimming pool (a 2-minute walk away) with several slides and a children's playground. Piesendorf is known for its excellent hiking opportunities and is certified as a hiking region. The beautiful mountain landscape also offers opportunities for mountain biking and rock climbing. An excursion on the local steam train to Zell am See, followed by a boat trip on the lake, is highly recommended. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!:) die Prinzgauer Lokalbahn ist gleich vor der Tür. Alles ist gut erreichbar und trotzdem ist die Unterkunft ruhig gelegen! Kleiner Tipp. Die Schwimmbadstraße runter, neben einem Restaurant ( zu Fuß ca 5 min) steht ein Automat mit fertig essen aus dem Restaurant. Super lecker, falls man abends mal Hunger hat und keine Lust hat zu kochen:)

Sehr geräumige, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und die Sauna ist das i-Tüpfelchen.

Tip from the homeowner

Both a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine are available. Capsules can be purchased at every local store, but if you do prefer original capsules, please bring them yourself. The linen package includes an extra large towel for using the sauna.

The Krimml waterfall is the largest waterfall in Europe offering very spectacular views. A true top location for amazing photos. Sports enthusiasts can cycle all the way to the Krimml waterfalls and return in comfort by the narrow-gauge steam train.
