Thanks to the large amounts of snow on the Turracher Höhe, it is often possible to get close to the house or to the slopes with skis.

Never worry about snow again during your winter sports holiday. Here at an altitude of 1700 meters it is guaranteed white from November to May. It is not without reason that this ski area is one of the snowiest in Austria. The wide slopes and comfortable lifts make this a wonderful ski area for the whole family.
The pure nature and a wide range of sporting activities make the Turrach a great holiday destination, even in the summer months. There is plenty to do for young and old. There are a lot of activities organized on and around the Turrach especially for families. Such as the Nocky Flitzer alpine roller coaster, a bike park, themed walks, pedal boats, paddle boarding and treasure hunting. In addition to beautiful hiking trails, golf enthusiasts can also enjoy the golf courses in Bad Kleinkirchheim (20 minutes), Kreischberg (30 minutes) and Sankt Michael im Lungau (40 minutes).

What is special is the beautiful ski circuit around the frozen Turrach See, which takes you past all corners and the many cozy mountain huts of the ski area. An experience is the 'Seetaxi' where you are pulled across the lake with your skis behind the snow groomer.
